NEW CAP Clothing Store for 2021

Kaleidoscope Imprints of West Yarmouth has been CAP’s clothing supplier for many years. Introduced in 2018 was the CAP Store where our members personally view, and order clothing.

Kaleidoscope is suggesting the following changes, in order to improve our “wait time”, in receiving clothing, and to be “most economical for us”. CAP does not make any money on clothing orders, to keep costs down to our members.  [Note: All “New Changes to the Store are in BOLD print.]

The CAP Store and how it works: All members will be able to access the CAP Store at http://kscopestore.com/CAP, in APRIL and OCTOBER each year. Once there all available CAP clothing items including dog bandanas, hats, etc. are pictured for review and selection (sizes are chosen at check-out).New item “MASKS w/ CAP logo

NEW:Only items with embroidered logos will be shown as available in the Store.” [Note: Silk screened items with CAP logo (ie. men’s and women’s tee shirts: long or short sleeve (CAP “Blue); sweatshirts: hooded or regular, full zip or 1/4 zip front, (Blue or Gray); and Dog bandana’s: Sm. or Large, (Red) can be ordered anytime of year by emailing clothing coordinator,
Todd Lafleur (ddotlafleur@gmail.com), but he will have to meet “minimum order # requirements” before an order can be made.]

Process: Members will:
1) open CAP Store website
http://kscopestore.com/CAP, review offerings.

2) complete the (one-time) information to “open an account” of their own.

3) select merchandise wanted, including “size”. [Members can make any # of orders in a month.]
4) pay and check-out. [Member will receive a confirmation email of order along with an order #]. You’re done.

Delivery and Time Frame: In order for the “Store” to work:
1) On April 30 and October 31, Kaleidoscope will organize all orders.

2) Within 2-3 weeks Kaleidoscope will deliver ALL items to Todd Lafleur, who will contact members and make arrangements for pickup.

Below is a list of all the adult facilities that CAP visits with day of the month, time and captain.   Therapy Teams must be approved and scheduled by Judith Cosgrove, Visitation Coordinator, and must be on the list for the specific facility before any visits are made.   Please do not make any visits on a 'drop in' basis.

THERAPY TEAM VISITATION INFORMATION

There are a few rules to be followed, and they are contained in the Therapy Team Packet supplied to all new Therapy Teams.   CAP provides a CAP scarf and tag for the pet, and a name tag and royal blue tee shirt for the handler.   These items readily identify the visiting team as members of CAP and must be worn at all CAP approved visits and events.   This is one of the requirements of the insurance CAP provides for its members.   Insurance coverage applies only to members who are visiting CAP approved facilities and only at the time of the regularly scheduled visit.

It is important for all Therapy Teams to take their commitment to visitations seriously, noting the dates on the calendar and faithfully arriving at designated sites on time.   If you are unable to attend for any particular reason you are asked to call your Captain and/or try to obtain a replacement Therapy Team.

The Captain will assist with the actual visit, support Therapy Teams, and is the liaison between CAP and the facility.   At the start of a visiting season, the Coordinator and the Captains complete the assignment of old and new Therapy Teams to the site or sites the team has selected.   The Captain contacts his or her sites and confirms the new season's schedule.   Teams generally visit once a month, typically for one hour.   Teams are welcome to request visits at more than one site during the month if they wish by contact Judith Cosgrove, our Visitation Coordinator.
